Answer the Survey Honestly
While filling out a survey is not really a medical procedure, the doctor will examine your answers closely. Usually, when we make our yearly appearance in a doctor’s office, they have us mark up a survey about possible medical problems or troubling family history. A few of these questions deal with depression and anxiety. Unfortunately, suicide is near the top ten causes of death in most countries. If you have had thoughts about ending your life in recent months, just by having a talk with your doctor, they may be able to help with recommended counselling or even possible prescription medication.
Getting a Flu Vaccine
It may seem surprising, but the flu kills thousands upon thousands of people every year. Many of these people were perfectly healthy and the last ones you would expect to fall prey to the flu. But if left unchecked, the flu could eventually take your life within a few days. Rather than just accepting getting the flu every year, get the flu vaccine shot instead. It may just save your life!

Cervical cancer kills thousands of women a year. However, often times it can be completely prevented with a simple PAP test. Next time you or any woman that you care about in your life is going to the doctor, ask them to consider a PAP test.
