GO HIKING IN SANTORINI

That is actually like being transferred to another planet. It is undoubtedly a natural gem and only God knows how on Earth it turned out to be so divergent yet appealing. Whether you get by boat or by plane to the island, you will soon realize that it has nothing to do with the rest of Cyclades in spite of being a major part of it. Unless you are fond of lazing around drinking coffee or having beverages here and there, you would appreciate some refreshing hiking, wouldn’t you? Then, you have to try the hiking trail of Fira. It is about 5km long and the whole route lasts about 3 hours. It is so rejuvenating and refreshing that it is the first thing many locals do every morning. Isn’t that amazing? Just spare a warm but cloudy morning, wear your trainers and light sports clothes and
go for it. You will love the view to the sea along the path!

RENT A MANSION IN MYKONOS

Since Villas in Mykonos are said to be the best of the best not only in Greece but globally why not renting one to spend your vacation there? Of course, you are not obliged to spend all your holidays on the island yet having hired such a place will be a great solution to the accommodation problem all tourists have been facing lately. Those villas are not like any other ones you may have in mind. Their carefully-chosen locations, the superb friendliness of the staff as well as the VIP services on offer can absolutely transform your visit and take a step or two further.

You must know that they are able of sleeping a maximum of 30+ people per night and almost all of them include a private pool, a jacuzzi, high-tech appliances and endless view to the Aegean Sea. If you are seeking more reasons to make your booking now, please notice that their rates start from only 100€ per person a night! No kidding!

VISIT LEFKES IN PAROS

And there you are on the gorgeous island of Paros. It is believed to be the most stunning village on the isle and one of the most picturesque ones on the whole complex of Cycladic gems. As it becomes more than obvious, it is a place you should visit as soon as possible. Its great alleys and the fantastic view to the local beaches and sea is insurmountable. Once there pay a visit to the local folklore museum as well as the local traditional cafĂ© of Mrs. Marigo. You will get stunned by the locals’ kindness and hospitality. Tips to Deal with Disagreements During a Group Trip

January 2, 2020 by TJ Leave a Comment

It’s fun to travel with a lot of people. You can enjoy more places together. You can also have more stories to share with each other. You even have someone to take your photos any time you need it. The only problem is that you might also encounter lots of disagreements. Each person might want something, and the others prefer something else. It might ruin the trip. These tips will help you deal with issues within the group during the trip.

Put everything to a vote

Use the democratic process. If there are issues where there’s no consensus, you can put them to a vote. It includes the places where you’re going to visit or the restaurant where you will eat. It’s easier for you to move forward when the majority of the group voted for it. The rest need to respect the decision and try their luck again in future choices.

Don’t always go out as a group

It’s understandable if you go out as a group if you book a package deal with an agency. You might also do so to save money. You might receive discounts and other promotions when travelling as a group. However, it would help if you found a way to avoid going out together all the time. There need to be a few hours each day where everyone can decide what to do without the entire group. It makes the members feel good because there’s a chance to pursue interests. When in a group, people won’t always have things their way, so this method will solve the issue.

Talk to some people in private

If a few people are causing some trouble, resolving it doesn’t have to involve the entire group. Only those involved may require a personal conversation. Ask them what the problem is. If resolving the conflict is impossible, you can at least ask them to stay civil and deal with the issue later once the trip is over. You don’t want everyone to feel terrible because of two or three people who couldn’t manage their emotions.

Allow people to choose their room-mates

Confirm the room assignments first before you finalise the reservation. Make sure that those who like each other stay together. Don’t force people who barely know each other to be in the same room. It could be tough for them. To make it more fun, you can rent a large house like the ones at thewowhousecompany.co.uk. They’re perfect for group trips. Each house has several bedrooms and bathrooms. There are also amenities like a Jacuzzi or a golf course. The house might be expensive, but it’s worth the price. You’re also paying the cost as a group.

With these tips, you don’t need to worry about group disagreements anymore. It’s easy for you to deal with them and pursue the trip without further conflicts. You can keep these tips in mind if you happen to have more group trips in the future.

7 Things to Do if You’re in A Car Accident

November 5, 2019 by TJ Leave a Comment

Whether you drive a car or a truck, you should know what to do in case of an accident. One of the first things you should keep in mind is that you’ll need a lawyer or some sort of legal help. If you’re an avid driver, you should already have someone in mind because you never know when disaster can strike. All you need to do to be prepared is to search for simple terms like “car wreck legal help” and sift through the results. It’s best to be prepared for emergencies so make sure you have legal connections just in case.

Here’s what you should do if you get into a car accident.

#1: Stop!

That’s right. Don’t ever drive away from the site of an accident, no matter how minor or major it is. You should stay where you are and wait for the police to show up so the matter can be handled by experts.

#2: Stay Safe

If you’re in the middle of a busy road, try to put your hazards on to warn other cars. If you can’t do that, try to wave and indicate that you have an emergency situation. You should try to keep the accident area cordoned off until the authorities can arrive in case they need to collect evidence and pictures.

#3: Call the Police

This one seems pretty simple but might escape your mind in confusion. Just call the police as soon as you can. If you’re on a busy road, there’s a good chance that a bystander will call. However, you should play your part and make the call too. If you need an ambulance or other assistive services, you should call them up as well. Don’t take too long!

#4: Take Pictures

If you have a camera or your phone on you, take pictures of the scene. These will be incredibly useful to the police when they have to make a report of what happened. Plus, if you need to file for any sort of liability or injury claim, you will find these handy. Make sure you show a complete and accurate record of what the accident site looks like.

#5: Get Information

Normally, police will gather at the scene and help you and the other driver exchange relevant information. If they have not yet arrived, don’t hesitate to start this process yourself. Exchange your info with the other driver. Make sure to exchange names, contact and insurance information as all these can come in handy. Don’t bicker or quarrel with the other driver. Rather, wait for the police to arrive.

#6: Report the Accident

You should call up your insurance people right away and make a report of the accident. It’s imperative that they receive this information as early as possible in order for you to claim it later on.

#7: Consult Your Attorney

This is perhaps the most important step, after getting medical help of course! You should immediately consult with your attorney and explain what happened. You can send across all the evidence that you have gathered on the scene as this will help your attorney to make a compelling case. Make sure you do this promptly!

Things to Do as Soon as You Encounter a Problem While Driving a Truck

September 1, 2019 by TJ

You might panic once you start to experience problems with your truck while driving. You don’t want to get stuck in the middle of nowhere with valuable goods at the back. Before you start to panic, these are the things you have to do if the truck encounters repair issues.

Pull over

Even if the truck is still running, but you feel like there’s something wrong, you need to pull over. You can’t keep driving it since the circumstances could be worse if you don’t stop now. Check the engine and other parts that you think caused the problem.

Place early warning devices

You also have to think about other vehicles passing by. You need to place early warning devices to ensure that no one bumps into your static vehicle. If the truck gets damaged on a narrow road, you have to help with the flow of traffic. You can serve as the traffic enforcer so that you can regulate the movement of vehicles on both sides.

Call tow truck services

There’s nothing you can do at this point since the vehicle is damaged. You can try fixing it yourself, but you can’t do it in the middle of the road. Your truck needs to be elsewhere for proper checking and repair. Therefore, you need tow truck services right away. In a few minutes, someone will come to help you. Whether it’s a simple repair issue or a major accident, the service will help take your truck to a different place. The road blockage will get cleared right away.

Call your boss

If you’re driving the truck for someone else, you need to inform that person about what happened. You might have someone from the company come over to help you. A backup truck could also be on its way to continue delivering the goods to their final destination. It will be an added expense for your boss, but it’s cheaper than an accident.

Inform your family

Imagine having truck repair issues in the middle of nowhere and it’s already dark. You will fear for your safety. Find a way to determine your location and inform your family about it. If you can’t call for help, your family will at least know where your last location was. They could also help contact the right agencies to come and help.

It’s going to be okay

You might have different feelings after the incident. You worry about the cost of repairing the truck. You also worry about your job security since you failed to deliver the goods on time. You need to steer clear of these negative thoughts and hope for the best. When you call tow truck services, help will be on its way soon. You may also ask for help from other people passing by the area. There might be some locals who will offer a helping hand. It’s a difficult situation, but you will survive it.
